Michael Brown was a courageous and relentless campaigner in support of victims of domestic abuse. His perseverance, along with a few fellow warriors, led to the introduction of The Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme. This is known as ‘Clare’s Law’ after Michael’s daughter Clare Wood, who was brutally murdered by her partner.
Michael Brown was awarded a British Citizen Award in January 2020 for services to the community.
